These are a series of images from a large format film project on the Verzasca Valley.
In this first series, the focus will be on the area of Lavertezzo, home of the Ponte dei Salti double-arched bridge, and these simply supernatural rock formations. Over millions of years, the river has carved its way through the rock, leaving it smooth and polished.
These images are shot on a large format 4×5 camera, on Kodak TMax 100, Kodak Ektar 100, Fuji Neopan Acros 100, or Ilford Delta 100. Developed in Ilford Perceptol, Kodak XTOL, or ADOX Rodinal, and scanned on an Epson V800.
